Fields of the Nephilim: CEROMONIES LIVE DVD Bei Sumerland.devin.com durfte ich eben die freudige Nachricht lesen: dass es nach Jahren nun endlich wirklich soweit ist, und 2010 endlich die lang ersehnte Live DVD erscheinen wird: " Fields of The Nephilim have announced that the long-awaited live DVD is expected to be released in the first quarter of 2010. In addition, the news page features a gorgeous new trailer for the DVD, featuring a segment of the live version of "Mourning Sun." The news comes just in time for FOTN's headlining gig at Hellfire in London this weekend.". Auf der offiziellen Fields of the Nephilim Internetseite kann man folgende Infos lesen: " As we celebrate the Ceromonies concerts achieves its final rapture. The memory of the Ceremonies concerts, which saw Fields of the Nephilim explore new territories and reach new realms in the band’s evolution, has now been chronicled in the digital era and will be released in the first quarter of 2010.  Under the banner of Sheer Faith Carl has worked to produce an honest portrayal of these magical moments, where the band'  & watchers play a vital role in the ongoing rituals. “The importance of all this is to reflect these moments in the band’s history, ” Carl said. “The ceremonies that we called ‘ Ad Mortem, Ad Vitem’, now becomes the future of our past.” Though much footage & recordings were captured during the 2008 events the final products are mainly focused on the London Shepherds’s Bush two-night events ‘Ad Mortem and Ad Vitem’ on July 12th & 13th respectively. Fields of the Nephilim Unglaubliche Gerüchte: Bei sumerland.devin.com konnte ich eben ein unglaublich interessantes Gerücht lesen (die die wiederum von der offiziellen FIELDS OF THE NEPHILIM Seite haben): "On a more speculative note, the buzz in the Watchman camp is that recently Carl McCoy has been in intensive discussions with original members Paul and Nod Wright." Also Carl Mc Coy soll in intensiven Gesprächen mit den Original (Gründungs-)Mitglieder Paul and Nod Wright (momentan erfolgreich aktiv unter Last Rites) sein. Fehlt nur noch Tony Petit (momentan bei NFD mit dabei) und die Urbesetzung von Fields of the Nephilim wäre wieder komplett =-oo =ODDD Meines Erachtens gibt es nur einen Grund dafür: Carl Mc Coy scheint gemeinsame Gigs mit Paul and Nod Wright zu planen =-oo =ODD Wenn dass wirklich der Fall sein sollte, wäre das eine wirklich Sensation und einer meiner größten Träume würde wahr werden =ODD ... Fields of the Nephilim Tour gecancelt Bei sumerland.devin.com ist zu lesen, dass die Fields of the Nephilim in Europa gecancelt wurde. Folgendes ist da zu lesen (Zitatanfang): Thursday, August 10, 2006 Sad news today, which has been confirmed by 7 Management: "Due to external factors beyond the band's control, 7 Management are disappointed to have to announce that Fields of the Nephilim are unable to commit to the proposed UK and European tour under the circumstances currently prevailing. This has been a decision only reached after much anguish and debate, and has been made with the long term interests of both the band and their loyal followers. Carl McCoy would like to make the following personal statement to the band's fans, who we are sure will be bitterly disappointed at this unwelcome news. 'With 2006 having been such a positive year for both me and the band, foregoing the opportunity to meet up with fans new and old has come as a bitter blow to me both personally and professionally. I am sure the unforeseen difficulties that have led to the cancellation will be resolved, and I look forward to the possibility of making fresh plans for early next year. Getting the band back on the road has been an ambition of mine for some considerable time, but I feel it would be an injustice to our incredibly loyal fan base to continue under the present circumstances.' On behalf of both Fields of the Nephilim, and ourselves, 7 Management would like to sincerely apologise for having to announce such disappointing news." Many of the venues/ticket sellers have said they offer refunds on tickets for canceled shows. Check with those venues and sellers for their individual refund policies. (Zitatende) Da hatte ich mich darauf gefreut meine absolute Lieblingsband , bzw. dass was davon noch übrig ist, live zu sehen, aber daraus wird nun dieses Jahr anscheinend nichts =( Ich hoffe, dass dann im nächsten Jahr nicht nur die Tour nachgeholt wird, sondern auch wirklich ein neues Album erscheint. Aber um ehrlich zu sein, glaube ich nicht mehr wirklich daran. Andererseits habe ich auch nicht daran geglaubt, dass Mourning Sun wirklich jemals veröffentlicht wird. =/ Also werde ich weiterhin optimistisch bleiben.

Fields of the Nephilim Gerüchteküche Fields of the Nephilim Gerüchteküche: Bei dem OnlineBoard der deutschen Fanseite gibt es das Geücht, dass Fields momentan an einem Video drehen und das es im Herbst zur lang ersehnten Tour kommen soll. Wenn das stimmen sollte ist das wirklich unglaublich =) =) Aber warum wird nicht im Sommer getourt? =-o =-o Liegt es daran, dass Carl Mc Coy den Sommer nicht mag, weil es ihm da anscheinend einfachzu heiss ist? =-o =-o Hoffentlich wird das Video bald auf der offiziellen Seite veröffentlicht =) =) ... Dead But Dreaming ... under the Mourning Sun ... Nachtrag: 01.04.06. Bei den Sonic-Seducer- News kann man folgendes lesen: "Wahre Freundschaft hält ewig! Fast 20 Jahre nach ihrer letzten Zusammenarbeit nehmen Fields Of The Nephilim-Sänger Carl McCoy und Kultfilm-Regisseur Richard Stanley ("Hardware", "Dust Devil" wieder ein gemeinsames Projekt in Angriff. Stanley, der sich bereits für die allerersten Musikvideos der Band, "Preacher Man" und "Blue Water", verantwortlich zeichnete, wird den Clip zu einem Song aus dem aktuellen Album "Mourning Sun" realisieren. "Richard hat eine einzigartige künstlerische Vision und Auffassung, die sich sehr nah an meinen musikalischen Vorstellungen bewegt", kommentiert Carl McCoy die Kooperation. Um welchen Song des Albums es sich handelt, ist noch nicht bestätigt. Seasons in the Ice Cage Bei der offiziellen Fields-Seite ist folgende Information zu Mourning Sun zu lesen: " The first 25,000 copies of "Mourning Sun" that go into sales are a limited first edition with special packaging and the bonus track 'In the year 2525'. When these 25,000 copies are gone, It will switch to the normal edition in a normal jewel case WITHOUT the bonus track. Exact release date is Friday Nov. 25th in Germany, Monday, Nov. 28th in all other European countries with the exception of Spain where the release date is Monday, Dec. 5th (one week later) due to logistic. Wieso die allerdings nicht erwähnen, dass die limited edition kein Video enthalten wird, ist mir schleierhaft? =-o Hauptsache "Mourning Sun" erscheint noch 2005 =). ... Dead But Waiting ... =) english: Why however, they don't mention that the limited edition will not contain a video, is veilful to me? =-o Main thing "Mourning Sun" appears still 2005. =)
